I have MUSSONs that came from Nottinghamshire England - to Ashburton, South Canterbury, NZ.
Robert Musson b 1840 in Westhorpe, Southwell, county of Nottinghamshire, England.
He married Eliza(ne Warren) in NZ and had children Julia?, William?
Roberts parents were William and Julia (nee Pearson)

Does this link up with your Mussons at all?
I know of many Mussons around Darfield, Christchurch area who I have spoken to but are not related to my line.

Hope to hear from you if there is a connection.

Miriam Musson
