I'm from the New Orleans branch of the Musson/Degas family.My great-grandparents were Rene' and Estelle (nee Musson) Degas.
I can answer many the questions about that branch of our family.You can e-mail me for any information. You can also check out www.degashouse.com. It's our old home, which has become a B&B/museum, to find out more of the history. It is also a beautiful B&B and has survived the hurricaine and is open.
