Most of the Fields/Muskrat connection comes from the Emmett Starr book. I've also found the family tree maker site of James Hicks to be extremely helpful. We differ however on exactly which wife of Chief Richard Fields I am descended from, however. I had always heard Jennie Buffington.

I've also this week come across some Muskrats in a LDS tree. I don't have an exact link, but if you go to www.familysearch.org and do a search on Jacob Muskrat, you'll find it. It was wonderful because it has Indian names for so many of my ancestors that I had not seen before.
