Richard Odell's brothers were Joseph, Thomas, Watson,James, Richard (died at birth), William (also died early), Richard O,(named for his dead brother) and John. Richard O. and John were born in America.Joseph, James, and John are all burried in Dravo Cemetery near Pittsburgh, PA.His Mother Hannah Brown Muse is also burried there. His Father Thomas died in Squirrell Hill, PA. Thomas froze in a riverboat accident on the Monongahela River near Pittsburgh. Richard was 5 and John was not yet born when Thomas died.Thomas' last name is spelled in several ways Mews, and Mewse.
Richard changed his spelling from Mews to Muse when he quit being a river boat captain/owner and became studying to be a Methodiat Minister.
