I am looking for information on this couple. They were married 12-11-1846 in Mecklenburg County VA. From what little infomation I have Quincy Francis Ligon was born in 1806; this would have made her 40 at the time of her marriage. My question is who was William Murray? Was he also 40+ years old when they married? Was this his second marriage? If this was his second marriage, who was his first wife? Did he have any children if he was married before he married Quincy Francis? Anyone have any answers? And this information is not in the Ligon book. I have read it from cover to cover.
