Thank you so very much. I was thinking they were probably French names as well. I was also puzzled by the fact that I can not find a ssdi for either Vital/Vetal or Maud. I wondered if they simply went back to Canada...and after dying there, had their bodies returned to be buried in Millinocket.

I will definitely be looking into the names you provided...even if it's a wildgoose chase..it's better that having nothing to look for..
