ARREST of a MURDERER -- A man named James HAYES was arrested in Sacramento on Monday on the charge of killing one William MURRAY, at Prairie City, Sacramento county, about a year ago. HAYES had been indicted for the crime, but being admitted to bail in the sum of $500, he eloped, and has since been mining at Salmon river. He had but recently returned to Sacramento, where his wife now resides.
