Dear Alexandrina Noble MURRAY,
My name is John Frederick MURRAY, Jr. I am third generation immigrant to the United States from Glasgow, Scotland. My Great Grandfather, John MURRAY, was born in Clackmannan, Scotland Nov 3, 1870 or 1879. His first wife, Margaret Drummond MURRAY, gave birth to 3 children Robert, married Alice Lewellen; Tina, married unknown; Belle, married Forsythe. Robert MURRAY, my Grandfather, was born in Sauchie, Scotland on May 24, 1903. Tina and Belle stayed in Scotland. John MURRAY’s second wife, Jane Robson, was born in New Castle, Australia. They came to the United States from Glasgow, Scotland on January 15, 1911 on the ship “Columbia”, where they moved to Tiltonville, Ohio, USA. They had 3 children Sarah Jane, John Robson, and Joseph Edward. Robert MURRAY later came to the United States in 1919 from Glasgow, Scotland using his father’s Naturalization to become a citizen, later moving to Glasgow, Montana where my father, John F. MURRAY, was born. I am not sure if our paths cross, but I am interested in the names of all of the children of the William MURRAY and John William MURRAY to see if yours were related to mine even though they came originally from Selkirk then Tillicoultry then Glasgow, which is not all that far from Clackmannan.
Regards,
Johnny MURRAY hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
