My Oric Jefferson Murray was born in Ohio County, West Va.1817. I would like to share information on any Murray line connected to this area during this time period. He was a Captain on a Steam Wheel Paddell Boat,named "HANCOCK" built in Freedom, West Va. He and the Hancock and his wife Caroline Amos from Handcock, Ga.was in Richmond and Savanna, Ga.in the 1850 and in Florida in the1860s.
