I have found some hand written notes by my grandmother of names of Murrah children. It starts Grandma Matilda Murrah born Sept 6 1822 died 1905, Allen Wilson Murrah born 1852, George Benton Murrah 1856, Emmaretta Adaline 1859, Nora Bell 1861 married Lambert Harmon, Hester Ann 1844, Martha Jane 1846, Margaret Maranda 1848 and Jonathon born 1849. No clue as to where they were born. I know that Nora Bell was born in Clark County Indiana. AS she was my gg grandmother. The Grandma Matilda Murrah was married to a Allen Murrah. Since their first born son has middle name of Wilson I am guessing not assuming that Matilda was a Wilson before her marriage.
I have not researched this fmaily other than to try and get some things from the family before they were lost or trashed.
