Hi Teresa, I think William is the son of Joshua Murrah b. Sep. 1793 Wilkes Co. N.C. m. Nancy Barnes 24 Dec. 1822. William b. ca 1823 Adair Co. Ky. Their son Robert b. Dec 1848 m. Louisa b. Dec 1859. Their kids 1. Mollie b. Apr. 1877, I think m. Glenn Sessions and had Sarah Bell, Faye, & Wm Sessions, 2. Hilda b Jul. 1885 Ky 3. Martha L. b. Dec 1886 Ky 4. Pearl Murrah b. Dec. 1892 Ky 5 Ada R. b.Nov. 1898 Ky. Don't have anything on John b. 185l Ky. This info I got from 1850, 1860, 1900 Russell Co. Ky. Check some of the counties close to Russell, as people in those days were migrating. Wm was probably in Civil War and maybe got land grant. I've found people in the most unlikely places. Found this going thru my files, not proven, but something to work on. Hope you find something. Susie
