I have records from my paternal side, Fishburne, back to the 1600s. But I have almost nothing on my Mother's side. Her father was Morris Neal Murr from Coolemee, NC. Nicknamed "Red".
Morris Neal Murr died in the late 1980s. He was about 80 years old, so I place his birthdate at 1905-1915. I know this is sketchy information, but I have no records.
If anyone has information I would appreciate hearing from you.
