Looking for my grandparents.
Annie Murphy - born abt 1884
William Murphy - born abt 1870
Married 1910. William was a widower when he married Annie.
Annie was a spinster abt 26 yrs. old. Annie's fathers name was John Murphy and an army pensioner. Williams fathers names was John William Allen.
They had 2 sons and 1 daughter. My father was John Albert Allen. The 3 children were shipped off to Montreal, Quebec, Canada when my father was approx. 10 yrs. old.
Bert his brother returned to England and John's sister eventually ended up in Ottawa, Canada. She had (1) son and (1) daughter who became a nurse. Bert had (1) daughter SallyAnn who eventually had (1) son Matthew born August 2nd. Sally was born abt 1943.
