Is this the Edward Murphy who was receiving his Revolutionary War Pension in McMinn Co., TN in 1835? Edward Murphy also left a will in McMinn Co., TN in 1835. Enoch Wilson was assigned the role of administrator. I also know there was a Revolutionary War soldier named Edward who was granted land in Greene Co., TN in 1793. Archibald and Edward Murphy were in Greene Co., TN in 1812. I assume these are all the same Edward, but don't know for sure. I'm trying to find the parents of John Murphy (b. 1784, NC - d. 1855 McMinn Co., TN) and am doing a little research on this Edward to see if he is connected. I would appreciate any information you have about this gentleman. Thanks.
