Here's my two cents for what it's worth.Wilson is my ggg-granfather.As far as I have been able to determine, Susan is NOT his daughter. According to a history of Butler County Ellen (wife of Ransom Seale) and Susan (wife of John Clark) were sisters of Wilson Murphy. The two "girls" discovered (or rediscovered) Butler Springs. The 1850 Census lists "Eleaner" as the wife of "Ransom Seal" and lists her age as 43."Susan" is listed as wife of "John P. Clark" with her age as 23.Since there is 20 years difference in their ages this information to me is suspect.
I feel that Wilson's father is John Murphy who settled land adjacent to Wilson around Butler Springs, but cannot verify. It is possible that Ellen (Eleaner) and Susan are his sisters, but again I have no solid proof.
I do have some information on the Seale Family that ties them together but cannot verify the source.
