Henry Murphy

I am looking for information on my Great grandfather, Henry Murphy born in or around Cork Ireland in 1845. He lived in Passage West a small seaport just outside of Cork City.
Henry was a merchant seaman and the last record that I have for him is on Census Night 1901 when we was stationed on vessel the SS Killarney which was anchored in Cork on the said census night. It states that he was a widower. His wife's name was Honora Daly and I can only find a record for one son,my grandfather Thomas Henry Murphy,
Any information would be very welcome.
Tom Ahern.
