Larry, wish it were that easy. :)
We have nothing before NC, so have little to add. We just know that our line of Murphy's came to Texas around 1840, via IN and southward into Texas stopping in red River County and then on to Houston District now Anderson/Houston and other counties of the time. Thanks!
