Thomas Murphy & Nancy Goodson Goodman

I thought I'd post a new message. Seeking information on Thomas/Tom Murphy either of Ireland or SC, probably born around 1795. He shows up on a Tishomingo MS 1850 census. He came to MS with my family group more than likely, from Franklin County TN in 1846. His daughter Jane Caroline Murphy married my James W. Burris, son of John Burris (and Sarah McDaniel) of Pendleton SC originally. I assume the Burris, Burrows (Anthony), McDaniel, and Murphy family group moved from SC to TN in 1808, though Tom Murphy may not have been part of that group. The group then moved from MS to Gonzales County TX in 1856 or so, but I see no record of Thomas there, only his kids. They all settled around Sandies Chapel south of Belmont, west of Gonzales the city. Most are buried in the Sandies Chapel Cemetery near Dewville. Would love to figure out more on Thomas and Nancy, their timelines and movement, and especially more about parents and siblings. Any help appreciated.
