HI~ I am descended from Daniel through Aaron's brother Daniel and from Solomon (Daniel's brother/Aaron's uncle)
The Daniel murphree cabin that you saw is from my lineage-The Daniel that owned the cabin in Palisade Park near Oneonta is a decendant from the original Daniel Murphree's son , Solomon, and would have been Aaron's cousin , I believe. The palisade park cabin Daniel was married to Pheriby Bynum . His son Solomon is one my ancestors who is buried in the Centre Methodist church not far from there off of hwy 75. The Daniel of the cabin is also buried near there at the old Mt Moriah cemetery if my memory serves me correct as is Aaron's mother, Molly.
My mother grew up in Oneonta and mother's "cousin" Paul Murphree in Oneonta shared a lot of this info with her.My grandmother's cousin let me and my brother go through the old Murphree cabin a couple of times about 37 years ago when I was a little kid - before the park got built like it is today. I thought the upstairs was really cool.
