This is so strange, I was just going to post the following information and ask if anyone knows if this is our "Daniel Murphree" or some other Daniel Murphy? We have all been told that Daniel died during the Rev. War. This record shows that he was at Valley Forge. And that he deserted. If that was the case, this opens up a new can of worms. If this is our Daniel Murphree, then we know he died on or before May 20, 1778. Personal ID: VA24243 http://valleyforgemusterroll.org/QueryMSAccess.asp Disclaimer This site is the result of thousands of hours of research by the National Park Service staff and volunteers from the NOVA association of the Lockheed Martin Corporation at Valley Forge National Historical Park. It is important to note that records kept during the American Revolution were not always complete or detailed. Some were lost during the war and others were destroyed when Washington D.C. was burned during the War of 1812. Due to this fact, some individuals may have been overlooked or missed. If you have information that differs with this listing or may add to this historical record, please let us know. We encourage and value your assistance and comments.
