I am searching for my Irish ancestors. Mary Murphy was Andrew Murphy's daughter, she arrived in Québec in 1847, she was born about 1835. When she arrived, she was an orphan, and we don't know if her parents died in Ireland or at sea. I would like to discover where she came from, i.e. Irish county/parish. I have the names of Mary's parents on her marriage certificate, which is in French, and spellings have been altered, therefore any spelling for Andrew Murphy or Bridget Culleton could be relevant.
