Her marriage application contains sworn statements of James MURPHY (her brother) that she was 21 years of age (or b. 1833). Her tombstone in Mose Reynolds Cemetery in Jessamine County claims Mary Ann b. 15 Jul 1829 d. 24 Dec 1929 (she actually died 20 Dec 1929); James b. 1834 d. Jan 1921; Hardin b. 1840 m. 13 Feb 1857 to Lucinda MASSA; William b. 1842 d. 12 Mar 1921 m. 14 Oct 1860 to Elizabeth WALKER b. 16 Dec 1834 d. 27 Mar 1915; Fanny b. 26 Jan 1843 d. 19 Sep 1926 m. Madison SHORT; Sally b. 1844 m. 7 Aug 1860 to Pleasant FAIN b. ABT 1820; Elizabeth b. 1846; John b. ABT 1849 m. Julia Ann WALKER b. 1849
