My great, great, grandfather James Cross Stevenson (6th U.S. Volunteer Kansas Cavalry) married my great, great, grandmother Harriet (Murphy)(Wilson)Stevenson married James Cross Stevenson in about 1867 in Morgan County, Missouri, after she was widowed during the first year of the Civil War by the death of her first husband, a man named Wilson who fought for the Confederacy. She was born in Tennessee and died in Stover, Morgan County, Missouri about 1876; one of her children by James Cross Stevenson was Joseph Samson Stevenson who is buried in the Ritchie Baptist Church Cemetery outside Versailles in Morgan County. I have been looking for over a year and have not been able to determine the gravesite locations of either James Cross Stevenson or Harriett Stevenson. Hope this helps. If you do happen to discover the location of ther gravesites, please notify me. Thanks. Steve Stevenson
