My ancestor was Elizabeth Murphey born 1776 and married 1792 in Virginia. I know Edward Murphey was in the same locattion as Elizabeth but was he her father? Elizabeth married Isaiah Walker and they were in Washington Co.,Va. for a short time and then moved to Blount Co.,Tn. They were there a short and then moved on to Roane Co.,Tn and from there to Marshall Co.,Ala. Does anyone have any info on Edward - I have his service papers but there is nothing on them about his family. Thanks Martha Russell Notify Administrator about this message?
