-John NEIL, blacksmith. Death by accident on 12 Aug 1760 (found dead where he was left “very much intoxicated with strong Drink &c.”). Inquest held in the woods near Island Creek in Anson Co. on 22 Aug 1760. M[organ] BROWN, coroner. Jury: John HAMER, Esq.; Thomas DAWSON; Thomas BERRY; Samuel FLAKE; James LILES; Barth.
