Thomas Boyd Chambers of Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. Gentleman.
Frederick Robson of Coundon, Yorkshire. Builder.
John Gargett of Coundon, Yorkshire. Builder.
SUBJECT
The document appears to be a manorial court document (but I haven't seen one quite like it before), and concerns property at Nos 7, 9 and 10 Victoria Lane, Coundon.
Frederick Robson and John Gargett have mortgaged the property for £450 to the Halifax Building Society, of which William Brear, Thomas Chambers and John Murgatroyd are Trustees. As a result, Robson and Gargett are surrendering the property to the manor and the Trustees are being admitted,
A note added in 1920 on the cover indicates that the mortgage has been paid off, but this time it refer to the Manor of Bondgate in Auckland.
