I'm seeking any information on MURF/MURFF families from Fairfield County, S. C. Samuel was listed in the 1790/1800/1810 federal census. His daughter Mary MURF/KENNEDY b. 1799 d. 1861 was my gg grandmother. She with her husband Samuel KENNEDY and 8 children moved to Tallapoosa, AL in 1837. He died in 1840 and she homesteaded in the Peters Colony Dallas, TX with 2 sons, James and Henry Kennedy in 1845 leaving several married children in AL.
