Hi Jennifer....I, too, am a descendant of above. Until recently I thought my ancestor was the Rev. James Murdock b.1755 in Old Saybrook. After much research I found James had died in Crown Point and wrote the town clerk there about l 1/2 yrs. ago. She sent me a Murdock history at that time. Now I have found my ancestor is really William Murdock b. 1740, an older brother of the Rev. James. I am descended thru Wm's daughter Polly who married Zachariah Hurd and lived all her life in Sandgate, Vt. Do you have anything on Wm. and his wife Jerusha Lay. Mainly where they lived and what his occupation was. I have very detailed info on James and wife Anne Buckingham which I do not need. Please reply. Dianne
