On May 7, 1849
an election was held for the colonel of the Seventy-third Regiment, Georgia Militia. In the 911th District. Thomas Banister recived a majority. A list of Voters: of that list C.C. Murdock, Charles C. Murdock, Jeptha Murdock, William J. Murdock. 3/18/02 ctm

C.C. Murdock (my line) has a Willis F. Murdock
I think Willis is who (refer. to Hardman letter) is referring to.
