Hi Ginger,
John Calvin Murdock was born Sept. 4, 1853 in Montgomery Co., VA and died March 17, 1927. He had one sister Louisa Jane Murdock born Sept. 15, 1857, Montgomery County, VA. She married William M. Richardson. Their parents were Elijah Murdock, Jr. and Louisa Brown.
Elijah Murdock was my great great grandfather. He was married 1)Mary Polly Dallas and had 7 children in Bedford county., VA. He moved to Montgomery County and married Louisa M. Brown Mar 4, 1852 at Montgomery County, VA. After his death she moved herself and her children to Fayette, W VA.
