I am just checking with you on your name.My grandfather was Millard Fillmore Murdock but he lived on Long Island,N.Y He was born in 1881 and died in 1936. His father was William Murdock B.1848-d.1918 To my knowledge they we both born on L.I.His father (my G-G)supposidl;y came from Aberdeen, Scotland in the late 1700's or early 1800's.I have not been able to find any proof of that. could there be a connection somewhere?
