Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Information is from Murdock Genealogy - compiled by Joseph B. Murdock (1925):

Ephraim Murdock was born in Winchendon, Worcester County, Massachusetts on January 26, 1772. He was a prosperous farmer in Winchendon. He married Zibia Bixby (born about 1771 and died July 20, 1824) on February 4, 1798 in Winchendon.

Ephraim married his second wife, Abigail Wales, on March 30, 1826. Abigail was the daughter of Jacob Wales.

He had 7 children by his first wife and 3 by his second.

Ephraim's parents were James and Deborah (Williams) Murdock.

James's parents were John and Sarah (Reed) Murdock. Deborah's parents were Jonathan and Deborah (Springs) Murdock.

John's parents were Robert and Hannah (Stedman) Murdock. Robert was the immigrant ancestor from Scotland. Sarah Reed's father was John Reed.

Hannah Stedman was the daughter of Nathaniel Stedman and Temperance Wills.

I have lots more dates and siblings from this Murdock Genealogy but this is getting very long. If anyone is interested, send an email to fitz@ccsi.com and I will provide what I have.
