Dear Frank, I think I have the answer to the question I previously asked you. It appears from a message reply posted by Stephanie (New England Murdocks) that my 'James Murdock's' father is, afterall, the Irish branch of John Murdock/Francis Conkling, as Stephanie states that his son James married Anne Buckingham. I think this is the link I've been looking for. Most of John's descendents, through his son Samuel/Sarah Foote, appear to have ended up in Crown Point, Essex, NY.. Any further info on this branch of Murdocks would really be appreciated. Thanks!!
