David, I am also interested in finding out about our Great Grandmother, Catherine Alberta Murdick or Murdock, b.1866 in Marlette, Mi. In a 1900 census it shows her as head of household, with her father, Henry Murdock or Murdick living in the house at that time. (Murdick was on the census) but my husband's family always referred to them as Murdocks. Catherine married George Agustus Oakes and they had seven children; Zola, Henry Otis (Our Grandfather), Earl T, Ruth, Bryon J, Ethel T, and Margie. As far as I can tell they were born and died in Mi. Sure could use some help! If I see anything on Rosa I will let you know.
