The Murdocks of Hartford were from More than one original source. Some of them were from, very specifically, the Murdock/Murdoch families of Pictou, Nova Scotia (who originated from Scotland); the Pictou Murdocks also (some) moved back and forth to/from Woburn Mass beginning in the 1850's,although there were already Murdock Cousins there who were Not of Nova Scotian origin. Always, in research, go back to the farthest original point in timt that you can, and then STAY focused on that; because everything is a biproduct of the past (genealogically speaking). If you need more Murdock/Hartford info, I'll give you what I've got, with specifics. Mitch Scharoff
