My Murdocks are definitely from Carrickasticken near Forkhill. You'll see on the tree I have a couple of pictures of tombstones in there. ie. Archibald 1792-1872. These were taken in the church in Forkhill. Would it be possible to see the documents you mention. Maybe scan or photograph them. Generally families were large in those days so the branch you mention may link to mine further high up in the tree. You may give me a few leads to follow up on.
