I am descended from Hamilton Murdock, born Ireland in 1730's through William Murdock born Ireland March 15, 1759. He fathered Thomas Murdock who fathered Nancy Elizabeth Murdock, who married William Matthews on June 9, 1853 in Chattooga County, Ga. They were the parents of my great grandmother Sarah Ann Matthews, who is buried in the Little Sand Mountain Baptist cemetery in Chattooga County..
