Jan. 10, 1820 in SC; m. (1)Mary Ann Donehoo in 1837 in Franklin Co., GA; m. (2)Martha Hinkle in 1866 in Cobb Co., GA; d. Sept. 15, 1879 in Marshall Co., AL; taken back to Cobb Co., GA for burial by his first wife. 2. Charles C. Murdock, b. June 1822 in Abbeville Co., SC; m. Martha S. Crider in 1841 in Franklin Co., GA; d. in Etowah Co., AL after 1900 and bur. in the Kyuka Cem. with his parents and his wife. 3. Hannah Murdock, b. April 2, 1824 in Franklin Co., GA; m. (1) Col. Thomas Banister, Colonel of the Cobb Co., GA militia as his second wife; m. (2)John Lancaster in AL; she died in Hopkins Co., TX June 5, 1903. 4. Jane Murdock, b. ca. 1825 in Franklin Co., AL; no further info 5. William James Murdock, b. May 13, 1828 in Franklin Co., GA; m. Sarah Jane Banister in 1854 in Cobb Co., GA ( she was the oldest dau. of Col. Thomas Banister by his first wife); he moved to AL with his parents; later moved to TX; d. April 24, 1924 in Hopkins Co., TX. 6. Mary Ann Murdock, b. ca. 1831, Franklin Co., GA; no further info 7. Nancy Elizabeth Murdock, b. ca. 1832, Franklin Co., GA; said to have married a William Matthews; no further info 8. Sarah Murdock, b. Apr. 26, 1836 in Franklin Co., GA; moved to Cobb Co., GA and later to AL; m. Calvin Scott abt 1863 in AL; she died Feb. 11, 1897 in Marshall Co., AL. 9. John D. Murdock, b. ca. 1838 in Franklin Co., GA; moved to Cobb Co., GA and later to AL with his parents; married Mary Ann _______ in AL ca. 1861; moved from AL to Prairie Co., AR where he was in the town of Hickory Plains in the 1880 census; no further information 10. James T. Murdock, b. July 21, 1840 in Franklin Co., GA; went to Cobb Co., GA and later to AL with parents; married to Mary ______ in AL after the Civil War; he was living in Etowah Co., AL in 1880 and in Hopkins Co., TX in June of 1900 and it is assumed that he died in Hopkins County. 11. Robert W. Murdock, b. May 1842 (according to the 1900 census) in Franklin Co., GA; moved with parents to Cobb Co., GA and later to AL; m. ca. 1866 to Hannah _______; d.
