I have a picture of a couple otherwise unidentified except on the back in pencil that reads "Samuel Nave and wife, grandparents of John MURDOCK on mother's side, Samuel was a farmer in Tennessee born in early 1800's".

John MURDOCK was a single man who lived in Farnam, NE as early as 1930 as reported on the NE Federal census. He was born abt 1899 in TN, living as a boarder/hired man in Horrell Pct. Frontier county, NE.

Possibly found on the 1900 census of Civil District #9, Marshall county, TN...John H. MURDOCK, age 10, est 1890, born TN, white, son of ???? MURDOCK and Sarah E. MURDOCK.

Siblings Bessie J, age ?? Clarence K, age 8, and in the household is Jane B., mother, age ?, abt 1837 in TN.

The above 1900 census was difficult to read so if anyone has additional info that clearifies this finding, I would appreciate it.

Would like to find info of John and family and/or get the picture to a descendant of the family.
