Is your first name really Randall or McRandals? John Murdock was born in Ire 1742, but I don't know when he came here but he was in the Am. Rev and was a one point in Brandywine on the De. Pa. border. He married Margarite Forend/Foran and entered land at Meadowview near Abingdon, Wash. Co VA. They had about 18 children but I don't know where they all went to. I am desc.from Jos. McRandals Murdock and Martha Lee. He was b. 1798 and died just before the civil war. They were my ggmothers parents. Could this be part of the family you are looking for. John has a military record with the national archives in Wash. DC. Alice
