Janice, have you looked on "Ancestry.com"? I found Hamilton Murdock, born about 1737 in Killyleagh, County Down, Northern Ireland, and died 1805 in Newberry County, S.C. He married Mary Cleland Jan 10, 1754 in Killyleagh, County Down, Northern Ireland. She was born there also. Their descendants are listed also. They had two sons, William and James and they had children all the way through six generations. I'm one of their descendants also.The contact on the site was Ronald Williams:
