Yes, it is the same family. Mary is listed on the 1880 census with her father, Eli. There are six other children listed and I believe there was one not listed, Andrew Jackson Murchison. These were the children of Eli and Martha Clemmons. It is confusing because most had double names and also "nicknames". Eli also had two children by a subsequent marriage, Earl and Violet. Earl must have died as a child, because Violet is the only child enumerated on the 1910 census. Their mother's name was Nannie.
My grandmother, Mary Murchison, moved to Coy, Arkansas to teach school there. I think her brother, Andrew Jackson, came first and she followed. He was a physician. Mary married Sam Dardenne, descendant of an old French family which had been in Arkansas since the 1700's, and had five children, one of whom was my father, Marion Carl Dardenne.
