I found census records listed in alabama, st. clair county on Flavous J Murchison. What I have on him is that he was born in 1862 Alabama and is listed under William A Murchison and Nancy Robinson.

I have a problem with the census because it lists W. A. Murchison as being born in NC, but when you go to the indavidul record for Flavous, it lists his father W. A. Murchison as being born in SC.
Flavous married Mollie Gallops in AL in 1881 St. Clair Co.
I do not know where he died.
I have family traced with his son John Franklin Murchison born feb 28 1885 in AL. (Death Cert) Jan 14, 1957 MO.
John married Virgie Williamson of Poetry Villiage, Kaufman Co, Tx.
So I know Flavous born 1862 AL

John F. born 1885 AL
m. 1906 TX
d. 1957 MO

Also Nancy Roberson could not be his mother sense Flavous was born 1862 and his father William married Nancy in 1865
