Murchie Family South Africa

My father was Harold Charles Murchie, born in South Africa in 1923, parents emigrated to South Africa from Inverness. His mother was born Elizabeth, his sister was Margaret and there was a brother James (Jimmy), who lost a leg at El Alamein, but lost contact with the family. I believe my grandfather (also James) died in the 1940's, but have no record of it. There was a cousin Agnes Murchie (spinster) who celebrated her 100th birthday in the 1960's. She was also the oldest Old Girl of my school (Durban Girls' College), when I was a student there. In Durban, South Africa, there is a shopping arcade known as Murchie's Passage, but I don't know which Murchie it was named for.I was born Sybilann Murchie in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa in 1954. I you or anyone else can help me in tracing my Scottish ancestors, it would be much appreciated.
