Thanks for the info. What I have sbout these ancesters is slim. 1. Walter Murch was a fisherman and lived in York, Me. He was listed on the probates as a witness in 1714,1715,&1717. He sold land in York in 1730 and moved to Biddeford. 2. John was a fisherman. His will was probated in 1760. 3. John was a farmer. He moved with his family about 1768 to Ellsworth. He and his brother William bought half interest in a tidal mill on the Union River in 1768 and sold it in 1790. He bought 300 acres on the Union River in 1788 from the DeGregoire Estate. That estate was a remnant of Champlains claims for the French. This homestead stayed in the family until about 1920. 4. Noah Murch was my gggguncle. I don't know much about him.
