I have Munton ancestors who lived/came from Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire: Isaac Munton b.1816 in Lincolnshire & wife called Heney (or Hiney or Tiney) born in Ireland. Their children born Pinchbeck: Dinah 1834, Mary 1835, Sarah 1837, Isaac 1839, John 1841. In 1851 Census, Mary, Sarah & Isaac listed in Peterborough Poor/Work House.
In 1850s Sarah married a John Hammond in Grimsby who died, then married John Walters 1866. John & Sarah my great Grandparents. Have been unable to find anything further back about Isaac Munton senior but obviously a connection with Peterborough Muntons. Another Munton family lived in Pinchbeck about the same time. Any info appreciated.
