Peggy, our name has gone through many changes from the beginning. Munro, Munroe, etc, to the most common spelling today of Monroe. It was also used as Roe, Row, Rowe during the very early days in Lexington, Mass., etc. My immediate family history is complete back to William (1) Munro of Lexington, Mass.

Very interesting,
Jenny
