Hello, I’m looking for any information on the family of ggg grandfather Clarence E. Monroe (Munroe?), of Providence, Rhode Island. I think he was born Island in August 1865. He married Elizabeth Mitchell, possibly from New London, Connecticut, in around 1891. I think they had about 9 children: Myrtle, Irene, Charles, and Everett, Grant, Doris, and Lawrence. Irene is my gg-grandmother, born in 1895.
Could anyone tell me who were the parents of Clarence Monroe/Munroe? I have a suspicion that his parents MIGHT be James E. Munroe and P.J. Monroe, but I can’t be 100% sure. Any information would be a tremendous help. I think that Clarence and Elizabeth might’ve moved back and forth from Rhode Island to/from CT., as well.
