Mari:

What I am about to provide you comes primarily from the J.B. Munger 1915 Munger Family genealogy work.

Daniel B. & Lucy (Agard) Munger had 7 children. One of whom seems to be your John Munger, (listed as being born 1818 in the Munger Genealogy) and another being a James A. Munger, born October 6, 1825, in Greece, Monroe County, New York. The Munger Genealogy does not have any information on John.

But James marries a Elizabeth Crispen, on January 14, 1847, in Sumemrville, PA and moves to Tittabawassee, Saginaw, Michigan between 1853-1855. James and Elizabeth had six children. The third child was a John A. Munger born 6/19/1853 in Suumerville, PA. James was a physician for many years in Freeland, MI.

Now James' son, John A. Munger, would not have been old enough to have married Sarah Trickery in 1857, but yes it appears that there was at least a 2nd John Munger in Tittabawassee. I would think that finding the marriage records for both John Munger's would resolve the mystery.

If you can connect to these John Munger's then your ancestry back to the 1639(?)immigrant to Guilford, CT, Nicholas Munger, would be: Daniel B., Benjamin, Increase, Joseph, Samuel, Nicholas.

I hope this helps and if you need any further Munger ancestral information, I will be glad to provide you what I have.

God Luck
John
