Seeking info on Wyllys Munger b. 1761 d. 1835

Hello friends. A few years ago I had the privilege of buying the Wyllys Munger house in Madison, Connecticut, a classic center chimney farmhouse, c. 1778.

I know a bit about the history of Mungers in the Guilford/Madison area, e.g., that the family were among the original proprieters of Guilford, that Madison was originally the East Parish of Guilford, etc.

I would be grateful for any general information about this gentleman and his near relatives, especially those who lived on what is now called Warpas Road in Madison. For instance, I am told that Wyllys was the first clerk of the Town of Madison; and that his father or grandfather had a stone house in the vicinity of Wyllys's house. Any direction or thoughts from knowledgeable sources would be most welcome.

Many thanks for any help you can provide.
